STEP 2: ACTIVATE YOUR SIM CARD

Once you receive your SIM card, text ONESTEP to 611611 and follow the prompts to activate it.

Important Details:

Offer only applicable for a single use per customer.

Activating your new SIM card will automatically transfer your phone number and remaining benefits.

To activate your new SIM card, from your old SIM card textΔ ONESTEP to 611611.

Your current SIMPLE Mobile Service Plan will remain available for use on VoLTE-ready phones at least until Nov. 23, 2024.

Upon activating your new SIM card, you’ll need to reset your voicemail – old messages will also be lost.

By agreeing to transfer your service to the Verizon network and accepting our SIM card offer, you agree that your current SIM card, once deactivated, will not be able to be used for service from SIMPLE Mobile again. We reserve the right to deactivate service on your current SIM card and activate service on the new, Verizon-compatible replacement, once you’ve received it.

Your SIM card replacement is compatible with the 5G network when used with a 5G capable device inside the 5G coverage area.

When upgrading to a new network, your coverage may be affected.

What is a SIM card?

Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is a portable memory chip that stores your unique user ID and service details while connecting you to the network.

Will the new SIM card work with my phone?

Absolutely! The size of your new SIM card can be customized to fit any phone and will come with instructions on how to get the proper fit for yours. Then, all you’ll need to do is activate your new SIM card and replace it with the existing one.

What will happen with my voicemail?

Unfortunately, once you activate your new SIM card, you’ll need to reset your voicemail, and any existing messages will also be lost.

What will happen if I don’t replace my SIM card?

We may reach out to you in the future if and when a SIM card replacement becomes necessary to maintain reliable service. Until then, you can choose to keep your existing SIM card; however, doing so means you will not have access to all the benefits of the Verizon network.
